What do Necromancers, an updated OR14 unit and Abed from Community have in common?
Soon, they'll all be a part of the Blizzard universe, one way or another.
The Necromancer class for Diablo 3 is set for release in "the second half of 2017". The blog post on Battle.net showed off all the skills you'd normally associate with a Necromancer: a Grim Scythe, a Death Nova, Blood Golem and so on.
The Necromancer will not be a part of an expansion pack, but rather a content pack which will feature "the class, an in-game pet, cosmetic wings, two additional character slots, two additional stash tabs (on PC), a portrait frame, pennant, banner, and a banner sigil." It will, however, launch together with a content patch, which will add a couple of new zones, Challenge Rifts and more.
Next, Orisa, the latest Overwatch hero to join the fray was kept in the PTR for longer than usual. She is now ready to join the live servers for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 21 March. And lastly, Danny Pudi or, Abed from Community, is now starring in a live-action commercial for the Hearthstone expansion - Journey to Un'Goro. The expansion is set to release "early in April" but some new cards will be revealed on 17 March. The commercial is listed as "Episode 1", but I'm thinking "Six seasons and a movie".
