Shadow of Mordor sequel Middle-earth: Shadow of War announcement trailer was posted after the leak on Target's page this morning. Under development by Monolith Productions, the game will feature an original story set in the Tolkien's universe of the Middle Earth.
Warner Bros. promises the return of the Nemesis system in its expanded form and the environment will once again be shaped by the play, as well as a new kind of reactive NPC, Followers. Talion and Celebrimbor will be making a comeback in order to defeat Sauron and his Nazgul.
The game will be released in four different versions: standard, silver, gold and mithril.
Pre-order of the standard versions will bring the player a legendary Champions War Part and the exclusive epic Sword of Dominion.
The silver edition comes with the Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion and a Silver War Chest. Those Nemesis expansions include a new Orc Tribe featuring new enemies, followers, missions, abilities, weapons, Fortress and wilderness updates, and a Mythic Gear Set.
The gold edition builds upon the silver edition, also delivering The Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion and a Gold War Chest instead of a silver one. The story expansions introduce a new campaign, playable character and abilities, side missions, enemies, allies and more.
Finally, the mithril edition gives you the silver and gold goods along with a limited edition 15-inch Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake statue, collection of exclusive lithographs, premium case with magnetic Ring of Power, exclusive steelcase, official game music soundtrack, cloth Map of Mordor, Tribes sticker pack and both gold and mithril war chests.
The gameplay will be revealed on 08 March and the game itself is slated for release on 22 August.
