Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare tops UK retail charts for three weeks in a row
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still on top of UK retail sales charts, for the third week in a row. The game's mediocre launch was mitigated by price cuts and holiday sales with various retailers. Since this year's retail sale numbers are down across the board, it is no great surprise that Infinite Warfare suffered as well.
Call of Duty games have topped the UK retail charts for the past two years in December. One of the things that helped this years title recover, after a sales drop of nearly 50% compared to its predecessor, is a surge in price cuts with various retailers.
From the looks of it, customers are still willing to buy the games, just not at the usual price and during launch hype.
