Latest megapatch for The Division wins praise fore rejuvenating the game
We were big fans of Tom Clancy's The Division... for a while. But then the cheating and glitching seemed to be all we could focus on, and the game became, well, replaceable. The latest patch 1.4 is good reason to pick it up again.
It's a 3.5-5.1GB patch for PC, PS, and Xbox, based on player feedback, and sets out to address game and balance issues and rejuvenate nearly every major aspect of the game. You can check out the full patch notes here.
Highlights amongst hundreds of game-wide tweaks, nerfs, and buffs include user-set drop tiers, better drops from enemies and bosses, new UI for PC users, gear locking, removal of scavenging, reduced NPC kill times, better enemy AI, and better crafting drops.
Response has been very positive, with the game instantly shooting back up the Steam play charts and users praising the changes. Changes equally benefit single-player or multiplay sessions, and loot is plentiful - and worthwhile.
