XCOM 2

XCOM 2 is one of the most well-received turn-based games of the past decade and it can be claimed at no cost for a few more days.

One Twitter user's hyperbolic response to a journalist admitting he used cheats to beat Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice spawned a meme that Firaxis didn't want to miss out on. Now, XCOM 2 spokesman will tease save scummers with similar lines.

Firaxis Games' turn-based tactics XCOM 2 is free to download and play on Steam for a limited time. The promo will run until Monday, 25 March 2019 and the game is also available at a huge discount along with the majority of its DLCs.

Firaxis has announced a new expansion for XCOM 2: War of the Chosen called Tactical Legacy Pack. It will add new customisation options, soundtrack, weapons, will let you play as iconic characters and bridge the story gap between games.

Phony have unveiled their PlayStation Plus freebies for the month of June 2018 and we're looking at six games, including headliner XCOM 2, Trials Fusion, Zombie Driver HD, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and two PS Vita games.

Xbox One owners are in for a treat, as Firaxis released a free update for XCOM 2: War of the Chosen improving the game's resolution to 1440p which is still less than 4K (2160p) but better than Full HD (1080p).

Linux and macOS users can now purchase Xcom 2: War of the Chosen expanison. The pack was developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K. "The expansion includes new Hero classes to counter the "Chosen", new enemies, missions, even more challenging environments and increased depth in strategic gameplay."

XCOM 2 is getting a big expansion. The expansion will bring three aliens known as Chosen. The aliens are on the hunt for knowledge and each of them will have their own resistance group tasked with defeating them.
