Titanfall 2 runs on Linux thanks to Proton
Linux users can finally play Titanfall 2, thanks to EA and Valve's partnership which brought the game to Steam. Being on the platform opened it up to new features, such as certain compatibility layers.

Apex Legends' popularity is rubbing off on its spiritual predecessor, Titanfall 2. Respawn Entertainment are on a roll as not only their battle royale surfed past the competition, but also boosted the popularity of their older games.
EA's deal to acquire Respawn finalized
EA announced an agreement to acquire Respawn Entertainment on 09 November, 2017. On 01 December, they've announced that the acquisition on the "terms previously disclosed" has been finalized. "Under the agreement [between EA and Respawn], EA will pay $151 million in cash, and up to $164 million in long-term equity" EA said.
Next Titanfall 2 update will introduce 4 player co-op
Titanfall 2 will be getting a 4 player co-op multiplayer mode with its next update titled Operation Frontier Shield. The free update is scheduled to deploy on 25 July 2017 and will also include new enemy types, grind ladders, and microtransaction cosmetic stuff.
