Mr. Brendan Greene of PUBG shared two images of a new map coming to the game. Twitter post showed an abandoned desert city. An exact release date for the map is still unknown.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will launch as an Xbox One exclusive in late 2017. Developer Brendan Greene announced the game at Microsoft's E3 conference. Make no mistake, an insane amount of money has changed hands here.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is now the undisputed king of the battle royale genre, with 3 million copies sold and a peak of over 200,000 concurrent users. The game has risen to popularity rapidly on Steam over the course of barely 3 months.

For an early access game, PU:BG is insanely popular, with console players slavering at the thought of getting their hands on what is currently a PC-only title. However, such is the enthusiasm for playing, that the recent batch of crashes has left many gamers frustrated as they chase that Chicken Dinner

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds may be getting a co-op campaign. While the plans aren't official at this point, Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene said he was playing around with the concept and that a campaign may be added sometime after the game leaves Early Access.

The new PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds map will be placed somewhere along the Adriatic coastline. Bluehole Studio could place their free for all mayhem on Vis, Hvar or Korcula, but we have a considerably better suggestion. How about the barren prison island of Goli otok? Brendan Greene, creator of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has indicated he'd like to make a game with a truly massive map and put 2,000 players on it.
