PUBG Corp and StarLadder to partner up for a PUBG pro league
PUBG may not still be eSports ready but that's not going to stop PUBG Corp and StarLadder from kicking off additional professional eSports leagues. The new league will be called PUBG Europe League and is set to commence in January 2019.
Over 13 million cheaters have been banned from PUBG so far
PUBG Corp appear to have been more transparent with their Korean players as they kept posting the numbers of banned accounts since 16 June 2017. With great cheater numbers come great ban numbers, totaling at over 13 million so far.

PUBG Corp and Tencent Games have announced a mobile esports tournament dubbed the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge. It starts on 29 September 2018 in Kiev, Ukraine, and ends in Dubai, UAE, at the end of 2018, with a hefty $600K prize pool.

PUBG has a new patch on the test servers. Players will be able to choose which map they want to play in the future. The in-game report button now also works. Both of these things should have been in the game in the first place maybe?
PUBG's new desert map available for testing, patch also live
During the last night's Game Awards 2017, Bluehole announced that a PC version of PUBG will be available on 20 December. The new desert map is now available for testing on the game's servers. A big patch was deployed alongside Miramar.

Brendan Greene responds to PUBG asset flipping accusations
Speaking in an interview on this year's E3, Brendan Greene touched on the recent accusations of PUBG being an asset flip for reasons of using store-purchased assets on all of the game's maps. Greene jokingly suggested he wants to kill them.
