New World

New World has a lot of problems but that doesn't appear to prevent the devs from introducing new content to the game and the greatswords might arrive before Christmas 2021.

Amazon Game Studios announced that the latest maintenance is the one that finally merges New World servers and lets people actually play an MMO.

Amazon have announced a new collab between their MMO New World and popular TV series The Wheel of Time. The collab brings in-game rewards like weapon skins, apparel pieces and more. 

A brand new, holiday-themed event in New World is kicking off today and will run until January 11, 2022. 

As the dreaded January update approaches, the December update brings with itself a host of problems of its own. One of those is fixing a harvesting bonus bug, that was actually working fine for months, and the fix will ruin its usefulness.

Happy Holidays everyone. Amazon have decided to hand out discounts to housing taxes as preparation for the January update, which is reviled all over the community. Maybe this is an olive branch, or maybe a move in the right direction.

When the whole community is asking themselves where the developers are taking their game, you get a petition for said developers to live stream a playthrough of one of the most controversial runs in the game, Myrkguard.

Oh boy, the negative feedback from the community must have hit Amazon like a punch to the gut. Now they are, in a piece of good news, making changes to not kill crafting and nerf the level of influence Expertise will have on gear.

The new Expertise changes that are bound for New World are shaking things up in the community. Fans are unhappy, but Amazon are staying adamant that this is the best for the game. So, it's up to us to learn what the changes actually entail.

Ah, New World. Can you get it right, just once? It seems the game has not had a good showing since the first closed beta, and it definitely shows in player numbers.
