Fazan Games are adding five new characters to Egress to complement the recent update that finally added the battle royale mode. On the other hand, it is unknown if the mode will ever kick off due to Egress' issues with maintaining players.

For those unacquainted, Egress is the upcoming battle royale featuring a combat system that aims to mimic the Dark Souls one. Closed beta for the game will start on 01 August 2018 and beta applications are still open at the time of writing.

Fazan Games have shown first bits of Egress gameplay at the start of May 2018 but potential players voiced their discontent with the game's animations. It turns out that the developers took the issue to heart and revamped all animations.

Battle royale genre is going to get enriched by another title later this year - Egress, a game focusing on hardcore intense melee action akin to Dark Souls, developed and published by Fazan.
