It may not be Half-Life 3, but Valve's new game Dota Underlords is off to a great start. Having ripped through Artifact's all-time concurrent player record in mere hours since launch, Dota Underlords currently has 179 thousand players.

Dota Underlords, the anticipated Valve's take on Auto Chess has officially commenced the open beta stage. It is off to a great start it seems since the game already crushed Artifact's peak concurrent player count in just a few hours.
Dota Underlords is now available to a wider audience
Valve have announced that Dota Underlords is now available to a somewhat wider audience. It was previously in closed family and friends beta but it seems like the game is ready for the next testing stage and Dota Battle Pass promotion.
Dota Underlords seems to be Valve's own Dota Auto Chess version
Valve seem to be ready to release another game that started out as a mod. This time around it is Auto Chess that was originally made by Drodo Studios and unlike the latter's mobile game, Valve's version will be fully based on Dota 2.
