It seems like the anti-loot box bandwagon is seriously gaining traction and now Hawaii has climbed aboard as well. I know that the stereotype of a Hawaiian you immediately thought of most certainly ain't no gamer, but their state representative says he's been playing games his whole life.
Changes coming to Destiny 2's Nightfall Strike and Prestige Raids
Bungie is in the process of adding some new rules and challenges to Destiny 2's PvE end-game. Nightfall Strike is getting a new set of scoring rules. The game's Prestige mode will get a a different raid activity with a "curated loadout mode" each week.

Destiny 2's latest patch adds Iron Banner event and some new weapons
Bungie is starting 2018 off with an Iron Banner event. Lord Saladin will occupy the Tower from 30 January until 06 February. Items from the last season remain as rewards from the engram.
Bungie secretly throttles Faction Tokens in Destiny 2
Bungie have put a cap on the amount of tokens that can be earned in the Faction Rally event. Shortly after the event went live, players started to notice they stopped receiving tokens after a period of time. Bungie confirmed and explained the issue, vowing to fix it in the next patch.

Dataminers have found evidence that Bungie has been planning to bring the Crimson Days event back in Destny 2. Their findings have been shared via Reddit, and went on to be confirmed by a Bungie employee. More official news will be available when Bungie post about their plans on Thursday.
