The Royal Court expansion is the project developers of Crusader Kings 3 have been working for quite some time now. It encompasses a lot of areas of the game, but there seem to be some unforeseen setbacks in the development.

Once a player has had a few playthroughs with historically prominent nations, accomplishing one goal or the other, their sights turn to change history itself, and with new customization options, this is more satisfying than ever.

In the recent patches, quite a few changes have been made in preparation for the cour expansion. Most of those fly under the radar, due to their sheer amount, so a summary is in order.
