Anthem is an open-world looter shooter by Electronic Arts and BioWare. The game was announced with a lot of hype and spectacular trailers but ultimately failed to attract players. Anthem Next, a rework of the game is expected in 2020.
Unequipping items in Anthem can lead to bigger damage output
BioWare messed up damage in Anthem once again. After the mess with the beginner rifle being the most powerful one, players can now increase their damage by unequipping stat-boosting support items. The ones that are supposed to boost damage.
Anthem players are on a temporary strike due to low drop rates
BioWare and EA have seemingly managed to mess up a looter shooter by not delivering enough loot as Anthem players are on a massive strike that is set to last from 11 until 15 March 2019 in order to protest in hopes of getting better loot.

Bioware have released a new Anthem patch which removes respawn restrictions and introduces some changes to loot system. On top of that, patch introduces stability and performance improvements along with fixes for various audio issues.
BioWare insist Anthem is not bricking consoles, fix due next week
BioWare's head of live service Chad Robertson has reacted to allegations of Anthem bricking PlayStation 4 consoles, denying that this is the case. He said the issue that makes them freeze up is harmless and promised a fix for next week.

Sony are known for having a strict refund policy and it takes something special for them to let a refund go through. It appears that Anthem could be somewhat special, as several users have reported successful refunds on PlayStation 4.

Much has been said about EA and BioWare's looter shooter Anthem but if the physical sales are anything to go by - it's not doing half bad as it managed to hold onto first place in spite of three newcomers to UK's top 10 all-formats chart.
Bioware change Inscriptions and item drops in Anthem loot update
Anthem's Inscriptions have been tweaked to make them more suited for the weapon they are attached to. Bioware also removed white and green items from level 30 drop tables and reduced the materials needed for crafting masterwork items.

BioWare's stance on loot mechanics in Anthem have been a rollercoaster as the developers first said there would be no stealth nerfs, then pulled one, explained why they did it and after further fan backlash decided to listen to Travis Day.
Upcoming Anthem content includes new freeplay events and missions
Bioware have revealed the first 90-day roadmap for Anthem which shows new stronghold addition is coming in May 2019. Evolving Together update which starts in just a couple of days will introduce new cosmetics, rewards and free play events.
