Black Lab continues with W40K: Battlesector support with another update, this time around bringing a new faction along, although it is not playable for the time being.
Blood Angels are seeing another enemy enter the fray in W40K: Battlesector as Khornate Daemons are rampaging through the battlefields in Planetary Supremacy mode.
The new units include Bloodmaster, Bloodletters, Flesh Hounds and the Skull Cannon but unfortunately, this faction will not be playable for the time being.
Instead, they will be opposed to everyone else on the map and players will get the opportunity to squash some Chaos while duking it out with everyone else, making it a bit of a battle royale between the factions. Then again, with everyone hating everyone else in W40K universe, the whole thing could be considered a galactic battle royale.
In any case, the update also added three new maps, themed after Blood Angels, Tyranids and Necrons. Each of the maps will be used for base attacks on Planetary Supremacy, depending on which faction is defending. Furthermore, the maps will be available in skirmish and multiplayer.
Planetary Supremacy will also see more reinforcements as players can now spend more Requisition Tokens to get a unit on cooldown earlier. Technically, this doesn't mean you will get more units overall but you can get the specific ones back sooner, so you can keep fighting on without having to change your army's playstyle too much.
There is also plethora of bug fixes in the notes , but the question on everyone's lips will now be "when do we get to play as Chaos?". Well, probably at some point after Sisters of Battle release.
