War Child Armistice raises over £100,000

Take it snow - but take it in World of Tanks

The War Child Armistice campaign started back in November and has now raised a hefty sum for the children caught in the horrors of war

The cause was supported by four games in total: World of Tanks, Verdun, Democracy 3 and 1979 Revolution: Black Friday. Each had a special bit of content in order to raise money for  .

The largest donation came from World of Tanks. The action MMO featured emblem packs and raised over £68,000 with the help of their big community.

Verdun  in the campaign and offered up a DLC pack in exchange for contributions. The DLC recreated the famous World War 1 Christmas truce of 1914. It featured a dedicated Christmas map where the players could play football, throw snowballs and exchange souvenirs with the enemy. Sales of the Christmas truce map raised more than £17,000.

Democracy 3 raised over £12,000, and 1979 Revolution over £1000, both donating their profits to support the cause.
