Marvel's Midnight Suns will be more than just battles and when the heroes are having their downtime, they will be hanging out in The Abbey.
Firaxis and 2K Games have released two trailers for Marvel's Midnight Suns in quick succession, one focused on the spectacle of hero, or in this case anti-hero, combat while the other showcases The Abbey which will serve as their base of operations.
The first trailer is all about Ghost Rider, who should really adopt the moniker Ghost Driver so he can differentiate himself from the Riders on actual bikes, possessed by the Spirit of Vengeance.
In any case, Robbie Reyes is doing his best to stay in touch with his brother Gabe but the supernatural side of things keeps him too busy and the featured recruitment intro isn't any different.
Meanwhile, when the situation is not hellishly hot, the Midnight Suns are interacting with each other in The Abbey, which is the subject of the more recent trailer.
This is where Hunter, the player's character, will attempt to bond with their teammates and explore the grounds to find useful upgrades that could be used in the fight against Lilith.
The trailer mentions there is the war room, places to chill and "whatever the hell the Forge is". With a name like that, it's truly a mystery what we might do in a place called "The Forge".
Firaxis fans who played XCOM games in the past decade will remember the ant farm headquarters and later the Avenger, both of which had similar cells and they are likely to find The Abbey familiar already.
