Halo Infinite's download size might have just leaked online. The screenshot revealing the upcoming game's weight in gigabytes has been captured on Xbox Live Brazil.

Halo Infinite's download size might have found its way through the cracks and has since popped up on Imgur. The image was captured on Xbox Live Brazil and shows that Halo Infinite will take up no less than 81.55 GB of space.

If true, this would place the upcoming addition to the Halo franchise at the low end of the disc space-hogging spectrum. That said, the 81.55 GB of disc space might only be referring to the core campaign of Halo Infinite, with the game's multiplayer taking up additional gigabytes.

Halo Infinite is set to go live on 31 December, according to its Microsoft Store page.

Halo Infinite promises to tell "the most expansive Master Chief story yet". The upcoming game will have the Chief go helmet to helmet (?) with the most brutal of foes we've seen in the franchise so far.

Promises were made that the players will also be given the opportunity to step onto and explore the Halo ring in all its ringiness.

While more information on Halo Infinite multiplayer will be given later in the year, we know that it will be free-to-play and that its battle pass will not expire. The multiplayer portion will still require an Xbox Gold Live subscription on console, which is sold separately. Batteries not included.

More information about Halo's content creation tool, although there are some who call it the Forge, will also be available sometime later this year.
