Company of heroes 3, a WW2 real-time strategy from Relic Entertainment and SEGA is seemingly coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S too.
Company of Heroes 3 is officially announced only for the PC platform so far but it looks like a console version is also in the works and could be announced soon.
The game was officially rated for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S by the Taiwanese rating board (via Gematsu ). The ratings usually occur a couple of months before the announcement so expect to hear some official news from SEGA soon.
Company of Heroes 3 is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2023, which is the confirmed PC release date. We assume that the console release is coming a bit later after the PC version.
At the moment, we don't have additional details about the console port of Company of Heroes 3 but certainly, there's no doubt that Relic and SEGA put a lot of work into the game, given that strategies are usually PC games and best played with mouse and keyboard.
It's safe to expect mouse and keyboard support on the consoles too but the controller layout is certainly what is interesting given that it's always a challenge to make strategies playable on controllers.
Company of Heroes 3 was recently delayed from its initial release date, which was November 17. The developer Relic Entertainment said they need more time to optimise and balance the game to deliver the best possible experience to the fans of this popular franchise.
