This weekend we bring you a selection of games that are on sale or even free to play during these couple of days. Some of these may be on sale for a tad longer.

I usually don't like writing these for the sake of my own wallet. Today is different because I've found strong will in the form of my sister standing behind me with a baseball bat, making sure I don't misbehave.

This weekend, I bring you some of the special offers that caught my eye. Here we go:

Gog.com:

Gog.com's offer expires in 2 days and 4 hours, at the time of writing. During this time you can score adventure games such as This is the Police, The Black Mirror and The Book of Unwritten Tales

If you prefer strategies, there are the likes of Tachyon: The Fringe and Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate available. Shooter angle is covered by Red Faction, Red Faction 2 and Painkiller Black Edition to name a few.

You can check out the full offer right here.

Humble's offer that expires in 3 days and 6 hours at the time of writing is called the Humble Game Maker Bundle and features Ink Deluxe Edition, Uncanny Valley, Home and Solstice. Bonuses include soundtracks for some of the games available as well as a 10 percent off your first month of Humble Monthly.

The second bundle will expire in 10 days and it's called the Humble Micro Jumbo Bundle. You can check that out right through here.

Steam:

Saints Row IV is free to play this weekend, and if you like what you see, you can buy it for 75 percent less cache. The offer ends on 14 August.

Adult Swim Games have their own publisher weekend going on, and the games are up to 90 percent off. The offer includes Rise and Shine, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rickality and Rain World. That last one didn't make a very good impression on AltChar's Telxvi and if you're interested, his review is right through here.

For Honor is also free to play this weekend, and it's 50 percent off as well, if that's something you're interested in. The offer ends on 14 August.

No Man's Sky recently got a fresh update which you can check out right here. The game is currently on offer for 60 percent off and it will remain so until 16 August.

Last but certianly not least, you can pick up Portal Knights for 25 percent off until 17 August.
