N.Sane Trilogy topped the UK sales chart again this week. The list's mainstays such as GTA V and Fifa 17 are still among the top 10. Miitopia dropped down to number eight.
Another week, another sales chart. I do feel a bit out of the loop because I've spent the last couple of weeks totally disconnected from the world. Let's take a quick look-see at the games people from UK spent their moneys on during last week.
First place, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. Wowsers. Did not expect that. The game has been at number one for quite some time now, and it probably won't slow down any time soon. Nostalgia, man it really works.
Grand Theft Auto V sits right behind Crash. Take Two recently published their quarterly fiscal report, and it showed the game has had its "best quarter ever" between April and June 2017. If you have been keeping up with these weekly charts you won't be surprised by this at all.
Now for something that caught me completely off guard. Fallout 4 and Doom are on the list, and it has apparently been going on since last week. What happened, people?! The two games are even up when compared to last week: Fallout 4 is on number three and Doom sits on number four.
Dishonored 2 (yes that one) is also up from last week's sixth spot to this week's fifth. Another sequel - Splatoon 2 suffered a different fate: it went from second spot all the way down to number six.
Battlefield 1 has re-entered the top 10 and landed at number seven. Miitopia was finally released worldwide in July after only being available in Japan since December 2016. The game has claimed the number eight spot.
Fifa 17 held on to number 9 and Rainbow Six Siege went from number 13 up to number 10.
Here's the full top 10, numbers and all:
1. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
2. Grand Theft Auto V
3. Fallout 4
5. Dishonored 2
6. Splatoon 2
7. Battlefield 1
9. Fifa 17
10. Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6: Siege
