Com2us just announced that their game - Summoners War surpassed 80 downloads worldwide. The RPG has made £689 million since it launched back in 2014. A spin-off MMORPG is in the works.
Com2us just announced that its flagship RPG, Summoners War, has reached 80 million downloads worldwide. The game just recently got back to the top of the App Store charts. In celebration, Com2us is giving the players a chance to earn points and use them to acquire a range of rewards such as Mystical Scrolls, Crystals and Mana Stones, from now until 22 July.
Summoners War launched back in 2014. The game features "over 1.000 unique characters and provides a premium mobile RPG experience gamers are able to enjoy anytime and anywhere". Summoners War earned north of £689 million, since it launched. A MMORPG spin-off of Summoners War IP will launch in 2018.
In North America, Summoners War returned to the top 5, ascending to the 5th spot in the top grossing chart in USA and 2nd in Canada while rising to the top spot in Germany, France, Netherlands, and Singapore.
The popular turn-based RPG has also seen significant uplift in its top grossing chart rankings across additional markets in Europe as well as Latin America and Oceania, further solidifying its position as one of the most popular mobile games worldwide. Summoners War is currently ranked at number 10 in the UK.
Last month, Com2us partnered with Amazon to hold its first-ever global Summoners War tournament at the inaugural Mobile Masters Invitational 2017 in New Jersey. The live broadcast of the Summoners War tournament on Twitch was ranked in the top 5 most viewed on the day of the event, recording over 35.000 concurrent views. Since then, the rebroadcast has notched a further 19.000 views.
